the wii has taken the ball game to the next level while microsoft and sony kept fighting for graphics superiority, the wii brought back the joy of playing a game back to the console  plus it also gives u a decent workout

mario galaxy is one of my favorite games of all time it's worth buying a wii for imo.

It is. But it aims for a specific public. Nintendo always have been kids and teens. They don't need to sell violence and realism like sony and microsoft do. It's an affordable console, with a HUGE range of products, and almost always featuring multiplayer options. They're really giving a lot of importance on playing games with a friend (and by a friend i don't mean an online opponent you will never meet) and this is something that videogames are seriously missing.

I think that the Wii is a good console, However it's NOT a 'next Gen' Console, such as the 360/PS3. To be honest it's a reshelled Gamecube with a gimmicky controller. It's a good machine for what it's intending to be, but Not good for the hardcore. It's a family machine really, a party toy.

I hear Turbine may be developing a game for the Wii... 0.o Possibly even port over one or more of their MMO's. Wouldn't that be neat?

no not really....because when u use the controls its crazy and u cant really control it and the controls are hard to use

The Wii is the best party console there is - mates usually would rather multiplay on a wii than say a PS3. Unless of course its to play Fifa

it is because of the way it is for like family but if you want to get competition go with xbox 360 because online the games and the community.
