I think that it's not a great console. The games just don't suit me. I usually like the hardcore shooters like cod4 or rainbow6. In my opinion, i think the wii's a console meant for the kids

I dont care for them at all..
one of my buddies has one and i dont find it all that, it's just okay imo
I would much rather spend my money on a ps3 or sumthing..

I do not hate the wii it is just the games get boring and i like to just sit down and play video games i do not want to be working out when i am gaming lol.

No, i think its fun the first couple times you play it, but there are only a couple good games for the wii... I would much rather play a computer game or xbos360

If you're really that tight with cash and want a Wii, just get a wiimote and and a bluetooth adapter and use it on your pc - Wiimote on PC

Wii is more of a social system, something to have for when friends are over drinking..
but really the only game adults can enjoy is wii sports..
no video game is funner than playing wii sports drunk lol..

The Wii is horrible sub-par compared to the PS3 and XBOX 360. My main reason is that the games for the Wii are horrible.

If you're alone? No, I don't believe the Wii is anything special.
However, with a group of friends, as something set-up at a party, the Wii is amazing. Thats why it strikes so well with the casual gamer.

The one thing that I really, really like about the Wii is that it is a totally unique system with a completely unique set of games and is totally set up for group fun.
At home we have a 360, a PS3 (for the Blu-Ray), and a Wii. Out of those three consoles the Wii gets more game time than the PS3 and 360 combined - for the record the PS3 knocks the 360's teeth out and passes all over it's ass, but that is another discussion. The fact that we are not just playing the same old BS hack 'n' slash or FPS's that you get from the other two consoles and that we have bascially been playing since Quake was released is what makes the Wii so damn cool, couple that with the fact that the only thing better than two way tennis action is four way tennis action and you have a sweet frickin' console:
Want to bounce around like an ass? Play the boxing or tennis game
Want to not bounce around like an ass? Play the golf game
Want to be somewhere in between? Try baseball or tennis
Every time we have a get together of anytime. The Wii is a huge hit that starts out with the kids bouncing around and by the time the night is out there are a bunch of drunk adults trying to play mixed doubles without knocking over a plant...

It would not surprise me if it does. The graphics are cartoony at best and cheesy at worst (depending on your perspective). I understand that they actually have Call of Duty 3 for Wii - I would be interested to see what it looks like.
In my opinion what makes Wii a great console is the fact that it is completely different from the other two monsters (XBox 360 and PS3). Nintendo obviously decided that they could either throw their hat into the ring with another high powered system and water down the market even further, or take a completely different approach and try to reel in a whole different audience. I think that whoever decided to take Nintendo in this direction deserves a huge pat on the back - this was a gutsy move that has paid off.

I have one... and it was one of the worst decisions of my life to buy it. It has very few fun games, and is meant for parties and little kids. If you a gamer than you would probably have more fun on an Xbox360 or PS3. This is just my opinion and don't hate on me if you like the Wii.

Wii = casual gamers, more family oriented.
XBox 360 = hardcore gamers who want a lot of titles.
PS3 = media-oriented gamers who want the best technology.

It really depends on what type of gamer you are?
if your are into FPS Wii is not the console for you, Wii is more of a family/Fun console.
