I have noticed something very unusual. Is Warhammer Online using the DAOC engine for the rendering? I have noticed that several days ago, and I just must ask you if that is true. I cannot believe that developers are using the engine from other game, and that they are proud of that. It is so unusual for me, but I cannot find any relevant article about that. That is why I am asking you for help.

It is not unusual for the developers to do such thing. If the game’s engine is good, it can be used for any other game. DAOC, or Dark Age of Camelot is fantastic game, and its engine is used in development of Warhammer Online. You can see how the game is looking fantastic, and the graphics are phenomenal. It is because the developers used DAOC engine in WAR. All other games are doing the same exact thing. Only if the game is revolutionary, it uses new engine. In many cases, it is not necessary and that way the developers are saving time and money. Warhammer Online is great game and you should enjoy it.
