Ive seen some screenshots and read articles about the new game Tabula Rasa. But I cant conclude whether it is MMORPG or SF game. According to some sources this game was conceived back in 2001, but due to conflicts among the staff it was stopped and later redesigned. What do you know about that? Im so curious because the creators inform us so little about it.

It is, as far as I know, a MMORPG game, which essentially means massive multiplayer online role-playing game and as such can belong to various genres, including SF. I think these two types dont exclude each other. And youre right about the changes. At first it was not quite clear which direction the game would follow and due to irreconcilable differences part of the staff was dismissed. After that a large portion of the already designed game was changed and its setting was established as science fiction. Its about alien species that have internal conflict and split, so basically its again the story of good and evil. Im not as thrilled about it as the rest of people I talk to, maybe because I like Ultima Online so much.
