As a long time player versus player stile of play game player I would like to find out something more about this aspect of the game. I would like to know if player versus player mode is as good as the rest of the game is. Is PvP hardcore in Guild Wars? Or is it more for casual players?

If you are a real hard-core player then you will find this game as hard core a sit gets. I am a hard-core player myself and I was thinking the same thing like you are right now. It wouldn't be the first time that I was made to believe that some game has great player versus player mode of playing, just to find out after I subscribed for a whole year that that game is easy even for casual players, not to mention hard core players like the two of us. So, don't worry. This is the game for you, and you will have a great time playing it.
