Hi there! Well, the game is not dead, but you can say that she is near it. They have a great community of good players in this game, playing a wonderful game, and then the game is bought by El Interactive. Some users came with idea of making online server emulator for this game. Last time I chacked they had some software but it wouldnt start on older servers. The game is irremediably wounded but the community still remains, locked in a static cyber world. Horizons announces that a test server that dozens of players played on regularly would be shut down December 27th 2006. After that shut down, only the memories of the users are left. There are better games out now and better games coming out. I personally think that Horizons: Empire of Istaria is a part of computer gaming history.
