Is Final Fantasy XI beginner friendly? I am asking this because I want to recommend my little cousin a MMO game, and this one seem suitable for his age. I know there is stuff such as Maple story or Ghost Online, but I think he has already overgrown that type of games.

It all depends. If this is going to be his first mmo rpg game, I would definitely not recommend Final fantasy XI. There are just way to many details in this game which require some previous experience. On the other hand, I’d say that the most popular game, WoW, is much more beginner friendly.
