Is Eve Online revolutionary or life-stealing?

Would you say that your life has changed since you started playing Eve Online? Is Eve Online revolutionary or life-stealing? I am asking you this because I have spend one whole weekend glued in front of the computer and playing this awesome game. Did you do something similar too? What was the longest time spent in front of the computer?

Just one whole weekend? You are a baby in comparison to my friend and me. When I first started playing Eve Online my mother was so upset that she called a doctor to come to our house and check me out. I sped three days in front of the computer and then I spend the following two sleeping, that is how tired I get and I usually get asleep while I am still playing. I don't do this so dramatically since two months ago, but I am still spending a whole lot hours in front of my computer. Is Eve Online revolutionary or life-stealing? I would say both.

With eve and the ability to train offline.. I didnt see it as lifestealing as most other mmorpgs, eq,eq2,wow.. etc.

But I find if you are active in mining, social, or pvp elements you can easily spend hours and hours.

Sure you can macromine... but then why play.
