I know i come off Rather blunt but in NC there are alot of migrant workers and most of them don't even speak English. They go into a store and throw all there money on the counter when all they want is a stick of gum.
I think they at least need to take an English class so they can learn it.

I can't deny them there right into this country. But I dislike how alot of them wont even try to learn English.
I went to the DMV the other day and a women was there who could not speak English getting her license.
That is scary.

I don't know, I just find immigrants who don't bother to learn the english language irratating. I understand they like their own language, but atleast try to conform with the rest of society. Not sit underneath apartment building complex's and have clan meetings. It's like rolereversals !

The whole thing stinks. If we need foreign workers, we should encourage their legal immigration to this country and ensure them all the rights of other legal residents. For those who recoil at the sane and sensible solution of increased immigration, which, sub rosa or not, has always been our country's economic salvation, there is a humane alternative: End the exploitation of farm workers and the like by increasing the minimum wage, expanding its coverage and seriously strengthening and enforcing the labor laws that might make those jobs attractive to those here legally.
Jobs are, and have always been, the magnet that draws immigrants, legal or otherwise, to cross our borders. Those who seek to tighten even legal immigration claim that foreigners steal Americans' jobs. However, it's now been said that legal residents don't want those jobs. The answer is to make those jobs fit for American workers and then assess the need for increased immigrant labor that is composed of people who are free, not government certified indentured servants

Authoritarianism does *not* require to be explicit. America has implicit rules of censorship and authority. Say the wrong thing, get sacked. That is just the same as having a legal doctrine (especially in a country with asocial employment laws).

"Secret Deals" existed between the Saddam Hussein regime a a large number of western governments and corporations with the implicit knowledge nad approval of their government. The United States was NO EXCEPTION to this.
Of course the controlled US media concentrate on issues involving France and their agreements while conveniently burying information on US deals.
