Doesn't this put Russia in a very awkward situation? They were investing money into Iraq, they strongly opposed action in Iraq and now they say they had evidence that Iraq was going to attack the US.
Who comes out of this smelling good? Bush.
Who proved he's a f*****g retard? Putin.

Yea, it also sort of insinuates that now that we've toppled Iraq, giving out this intelligence isn't going to be a problem. It's actually going to help them if anything...since we pretty much have control of things.

It was an additional clarification of the situation. It's not dumbing it down, it's actually continuing and adding to the previous comment.
I don't see you contributing much besides the actual link.

Since when did we start having high expectations for Russia?
Sure...there's always France to make fun of, but c'mon we're only 15-20 years away from calling them "The Evil Empire" (we still love ya Ron!)

It's not what our expectations of Russia that's at issue. It's Russia's inability to function in a way that is beneficial to Russia that is in question.

No, you contribute the link, we contribute concise enlightenment. In fact, if you claim that I'm contributing idealess wordiness, then you haven't lived up to your first appraisal of yourself. You're lying to yourself if you believe what you say.
My comment was meant to continue Jinu's thought. If Russia has been giving us intelligence of Iraq's attempts to help in terrorist attacks on American soil and American sites over seas, then it just shows that they are only looking out for their best interests. That type of behavior is inherent in almost every living individual, and even in bodies of government such as russia. They just have a more devious way of looking out for their interests...it shows in the link you provided.
They want in's on the trade scene, is about all I can see it amounting to...anything they can get their hands on, or wipe their hands clean of, they will attempt.
They would give us information about Iraq while doing trade with them all the while? Seems pretty shady, yes?

See? You just contributed exactly the same amount to this thread with just 7 characters. I think you can further shorten it to waste even less bandwidth, though.
