Watched it, and didn't think much of it. Going to keep watching at least, I don't think the premiere really told much about what the series will be like.

I'm with ya there. I'll leave it scheduled on the DVR for a while but I don't see myself sticking with this show. It felt like they tried to 'cram to much" into the pilot.
I would have prefered they built the plot and suspense a bit longer than 30 minutes before going "OMG ALIENS WTF"

It was posted on several spoiler sites for LOST that the episode last night would run two minutes over...well it didn't.
If you stayed for that extra two minutes or so, though, you got to see the disclaimer at the start of Invasion that "in light of recent events, some viewers may be sensitive to the images of a hurricane and its damage, blah blah...." that little hook probably kept people watching through at least the first few mins of Invasion.
LOST pulled a 13.7 share last night; Invasion pulled a 10.6..so more than just a few people stayed tuned...

Have we really tried to insulate ourselves from reality so much that we need that kind of warning for an obvious fictional show? All we need now is some wacko to file a class action lawsuit on behalf of hurricanes who have had their feelings hurt by the warning and the circle of stupidity would be complete.

How can you not see the plot of this.....
Freaking Alien Mother = Leader/get the invasion all started
Priest = whack human/alien cuz the process isnt going to take completely. You can tell this by his facial expressions and his mindless stare at the end of the show.
Little Girl = knows mommy isnt mommy cuz she smells different
Park Ranger = unbeliever who will be the believer and turn out to save humanity
Fat breaded guy = beleiver of everything. will lead park ranger man to the proof.
boyfriend cop = will become 2nd in command of said hurricane aliens
Its by one if not more of the same crack heads that make LOST. So instead of hiding everything they just pretty much put it out in the open. Since it follows lost I suppose they figured that to many shows with the "WHATS DOWN THE HATCH" questions would kill its popularity. So LOST will have unawswered questions while this one will throw us into a "Invasion of the Body Snatchers/V/War of the Worlds" show. The only big mystery to it was that a "Hurricane" was the way the aliens came to invade, other then that its pretty straight foward.

There was a clip on GMA...I wasn't aware that was the scene that was pushing them over the one hour mark...eventually, there will be a link to the scene on one of the LOST boards..I'll post it when I see it.
