I had my prelim interview for a supervisor position where I work, and while it's not 100% I have a good feeling that I'll get another interview and move on from there.
Questions...
What kinds of things should I say about myself when they ask strength/weakness, etc?
When it comes down to salary, what is the best way to negotiate for more? Should I not do this if I have no previous management experience?
Any other advice would be quite appreciated.

strengths - work well with others and in team atmospheres. self starter and doesnt need to have hand held. great at problem solving.
weaknesses - I'm sure i have some, but nothing comes to mind right now. I'm confident in my work.
salary - if they ask you what you want to make....say, either 1)I'm sure if you think i'm the best candidate for this job, and I feel I'm a strong candidate, you'll offer me something I cant refuse. OR 2)what is the pay range for the position?

Those are pretty good. The classic "my weakness is I'm a perfectionist" is such a cliche now most ppl will just laugh if you try it

Well she asked those questions on the phone one...
because it was the one greatest strength... so I said my adaptability
for weakness I said I have a tendency to focus too much and dig in on problems... kinda in that whole cliche thing
As to salary I know the range already... it's 27-30k... with my lack of solid experience for the position if i get it I guess I'm on the 27 end of it heh.

haha back in your old post where i gave ya suggestions HERE i told ya that as an example of what i had done (but that was ten or eleven years ago) now its been done to death 
gluck to ya and if ya dont get it shake his hand, thank him again for his time and let him know if another possition opens to keep you in mind *or if your really confident* tell him to look you up and see if your still available
