I found out last night that Germany, one of the allied countries most against the war, is nonetheless offering TONS of support right now to the American effort.
- German forces are performing duties (policing or mechanical duties, for example) on American bases in Germany to free up American forces to go to war
- Germany is performing surveilance missions for the war effort
- Germany has offered lots and lots of military equiptment (Patriot and other missile systems, for example)
All of these efforts already amount to more support than the US is getting from "public" allies like Spain or Bulgaria.
Just thought you might like to know that there's more support than there at first seemed to be.

So basically they're selling us back the weapon systems we sold to them?

They're all doing it. Lots of countries are starting to step up and show their support publicly for this war and it's purpose.
Like your Germany example, I really like how all these anti-war countries are now backpeddling and offering aid and support.
France wants to be a part of establishing a new government in Iraq now, Turkey has given us airspace, and so on.
My opinion is:
-Turkey wants part of Iraq. They are blood enemies of the Kurds who happen to inhabit the northern region of Iraq which borders Turkey. The Kurds are the people who Saddam used chemical weapons against, attempting to commit genocide. They are strongly anti-Saddam. The US needs their support. The Kurds want to establish their own state. Turkey wants this region or at least wants to have control of the Kurds.
As you know Turkey declined allowing the US to establish air bases for the raid on Iraq. However they recently decided to allow US the permission to fly over Turkish airspace. This happened Thursday I believe shortly after the war officially began with evident military attacks. Today, Turkey let 1,000 special ops troops enter Iraq in the northern region for "humanitarian aid".
Just as we should do with France, I think we need to tell Turkey where to shove it, and help the Kurds establish their own state. Even if that means helping Kurds defend their homes from Turkish troops who waited for us to do the dirty work and now think they can waltz in and take territory or involve themselves in any way with what is going on in Iraq. They took their stance. They made their choice not to involve themselves in this conflict by denying us military bases, so we should help them hold true to their decision and keep them the f**k out.

the france deal is totally different
france is still staning their ground, saying how bad we are, and refusing to help.....BUT
They somehow are demanding that they be a key player in the restructuring of iraq, as if they are somehow partially involved with its liberation.
All it is, is france trying to secure their oil assets, and nothing more.
It's always been about oil with them.
