As far as I have seen it, there is no bard class in Age of Conan. I think that’s a shame and that it should definitely be introduced if not at first, than with some expansion. Using instruments instead of swords in the battle would be a welcome addition to the world that I think might end up being full of barbarians named Conin or Connann or something like that waving their swords all around.

There doesn’t have to be a bard as a class, but adding some instruments to the game would be nice. There should also be skills connected to these instruments. For example, drums would be great when preparing for a big battle. And of course, you should be able to have PC musicians in taverns. But then, they’d have to enable dancing too.
