Does anyone know if Guild Wars is compatible with some versions of Vista? My sound is off now in game once I installed it. I have heard that this game have support in Vista, but I do not know if that is true, or just another lie, like so many others. I need help from you people and game gurus to tell me the answer to my little question. I cannot play this game without the sound.

First, I need to ask you why you are buying Windows Vista in the first place. It is still not good enough yet and there are still many things to do to make it better. Especially for players and passionate gamers, because it has bigger system drain than XP does. However, if your mind is set, than you must installed new drivers for sound card. Guild Wars should run with sound once you done this. It is sounding like you do not have the latest sound drivers installed. Vista is going to be awesome gaming OS, so it will run every new game at its best. Guild Wars and new windows OS will be a good pair, once you do the necessary things.

not all of the problems can be from Vista.. it can be your in game settings cuz guild wars aut configs when new software loads. i reccomend going in game, hit F11 and check your sound settings. and if theres more you need, pm me in game, Mr Goodenough. im willing to help you out.
