Inside Man -- Spoilers n such --

First off i liked the movie a lot, but does anyone have any idea what the purpose of digging the hole was?

I understand that they move the back wall forward so that clive owen could fit back there to escape, but the only possible reason that i could think of for the hole was to put the .357 magnum inside.

The cops only found the toy AK-47's when the looked around the bank, no sign of the magnum, and i doubt when walking outside of the bank he'd want to have the gun on him and risk being seen disposing of it somewhere.

Can anyone think of any other possible reason for the hole? I guess other than to show his girlfriends really big tits hanging out when she was doing the digging.

Yeah I thought it was a bathroom. I went yesterday to see it, only because my mom wanted to see it and I was obliging her. It was mediocre.
