hey guys,
So a little question about the PvP servers in AoC.
I checked on the official site, and well, the info is pretty vague of what a PvP server would consist. Is it more less like in WoW?
And if so, what is the PvP about on the PvE servers, instanced Battelgrounds?
And this siege war, where is it located? in instance zones? or widely accessible ones?
I assume those are flagged pvp anyways.
To summ, can anyone elaborate how those servers work?
Id like to avoid the mistake made when started playing WoW.

I think you'll have to wait for more people to get ahold of the game. I'll be able to tell you around when it comes out because I'm going to find out everything about it.

well my buddy says on pvp servers.. you can pvp anywhere, except i think one main city, should be a blast

PVP Server=/= WOW's "PVP" servers
All servers in AoC have PVP Zones, regardless of FFA, RP or PVE.
FFA Servers=Free for all, meaning Everyone is open to be attacked, and by everyone I mean EVERYONE.
RP Servers= Same as the above, but with restrictions on character names and the sort, standard RP.
PVE= Safe zones in all of the main questing areas, FFA PVP in Border Kingdoms.
PVP In AoC: Pretty much a different PVP than what you are used to in other hardcoded multi-faction games, when you start the game you dont choose to be part of:
Alliance/Order/Light/GoodGuysInc or Chaos/Horde/Darkness/EvilGuysCorp
You are just a player, factions will form over time and each server will have their own.
Think shadowbane minus the horrid mechanics that the devs believed to be awesome.
