Earring Quest everyone should do:
Go to Ruins of Varsoon, in the tailor room there is a clickable roll of silk.
***IMPORTANT*** Select the option for the merchant in the Down Below Sewers.
Go there by Antonica > Peat Bog (swim underwater for zone in from Qeynos Gates station) > Vermins Snye (Middle Easternmost part of zone, clickable gate > Down Below (Grate next to zone in when you enter Vermins Snye)
Go West, then Southwest, she is in soutwesternmost corner, Just hail her and you get it.
37ac 4int, 6sta, 2wis, 21health, 19power, 100dis, 80div, 40mag.
Level 29+
Do it.

Heritage quests that are broken and bugged.
Glowing Black Stone - final part to get key to instance seems to be bugged for "some" people. It is possible to complete though, at least supposedly.
Evil Eye Bag - Supposedly completely bugged due to mob kills not registering.
PGT axe - Lots of people saying Fir Lumber is unfindable. Some people claiming they've found it.
Ghoulbane - Insanely long, difficult, rare spawn camps, and buggy, don't do it yet, you'll outlevel the reward before you can get it.
Dwarven Work Boots - Spawn needed is insanely rare to the point of not worth it.
Guise of Deceiver - You need to spend like 10-18 hours in Nektrop supposedly to complete it and one door you need to go through requires a key to open it, which needs a separate quest, on top of that the key doesnt work.
Basically if you want to do a Heritage now the only ones I know of that work fine and are worth doing are in level order -
LightStone
Shiny Brass Halberd
Fish Bone Earring
Serrated Bone Dirk
Journeyman Boots (Can actually start very early, lots of steps for different levels with interim rewards)
P.S. Obviously I don't have first hand experience with all of these and am going of second to fourth hand information, I could be wrong about a lot.

Way to fix a lot of broken quest, especially involving 2 tier (quest involves getting another quest). Hard to explain which ones but if you have one you'll know about it.
Go to the Temple of War in NFP and right click the statue. LOL, I'm serious.

Small study of experience rates by me.
DISCLAIMER: This is only based on 4-5 days of looking at things...sure a lot of these numbers are off 10-30%. Your input appreciated.
I've noticed my leveling speed has slowed down, a lot. So I started keeping track of different exp rates.
Soloing in EL I can get 3% exp every 18mins. Or basically 10% per hour. Fighting yellow/oranges seems to be the best rate. Reds take more downtime and really provide little to no more experience / loot. IT IS ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL you buy the expensive waters / food if you want to solo or duo. Not doing so cripples how fast you are. Soloing I can also make rougly 1.5-3g per hour. It's almost impossible to track money made in duoing and groups it usually is not as much though.
Duoing with Tendrul we get varying rates. Somewhere between 1.2% every 5mins. Or .5-.6% every 2-3mins (didnt write this part down so it's a little fuzzy). Duo EXP is by far the best before level 20 fighting Double Arrrow mobs. After level 20 good duos can only match somewhat competent groups for exp rate, and the best exp comes from fighting groups of 2x 1 arrow mobs.
Groups vary hugely, if you die at all you RUIN your exp rate simply becuase only the BEST POSSIBLE group can beat 200% of solo/duo exp. The best possible group exp comes from when you join a group that is awesome where you are somewhat not qualified to be in becuase of being 2-3 levels lower. The only people who can really do that are some DPS and healing classes though. Good competent groups can achieve 12-15% per hour if you are consitantly killing oranges and reds. The thing to keep in mind is how much being in debt ruins that. If in awesome group 2 or more people die per hour it is slower than soloing or duoing. Groups with stupid amount of healing and tanking are horrible exp, these are groups with a guardian, 2 healers, AND an enchanter. If you have 2 healers ans a guardian you basically need 3 AoE wizards as your other 3 members in order to make up for the 0dps of 3 people.
But ya, groups of people you like is defintely the most fun, with duoing and soloing being more boring. But don't ever sit there waiting for a group, you can get solo exp 90%-100% as fast as grouping.

What level are you guys?
I'm level 27 almost 28. I solo almost all mobs easy except for any arrow mobs. Group xp with 3-4 is about the best xp. I'm also evil so a lot of the shit you are killing isn't in the same area.
levels 1-18 do commonlands.
18-22 do FG
22-30 do nektulos
I'm soloing level 32's in EL at level 26. EXP is still slower than when I duo with someone.

No it doesn't, the worst thing to happen in EQLive was the removal of almost all death penalties. It made the game boring and made even the most dangerous area dull.

Cause you know we shouldn't have penalties for dying... that'd just be wrong. We should just get up and walk back to our corpse and all will be happy...

Ungodly? After a couple deaths it still costs less than 30s to repair my equip at lvl 29, and yes it's up to date.

yeah if you repair after 3 deaths it's only 20silver, but do that x all the times you died x the time you play = a shitload
Plus i dont repear every 3 deathst that gets tedious, i wait till it is down to 10 durability

It goes up a lot later. It's tied to sell price of the armor.

Yeah but even my bp that sells for over a gold to the vendor is only 1s and some copper after 2 deaths.
The real key is to avoid dying

repair costs are alot higher for people in plate, which by virtue of being plate, has higher sell values, and costs alot more to repair.

I'm in full plate at level 30 and it costs me pennies to repair, even at 10%.
Also cash flow is crazy now, I went from getting 1g a week to around 5g a day now. Runnyeye is the shit.
