Been shopping for awhile, but no games out really made me to jump to upgrade yet.
So i was at mirco center today and seen this:
3.2 Gig 800 FSB
1 gig PC400 Ram
256 GeForce FX 5600
160 GB ATA133 7200 HD
16x DVD
4x DVD +/- RW Drive
Windows XP Pro
Other standard stuff.
Was $1589 with a 100 dollar mail in rebate, also got a free i450 Cannon Printer.
Overall i am very happy with all that, only thing i might have liked better was the video card, but i figured by spring when the games that need it roll out i will upgrade.
I never had any intention of building my own computer, i was looking to buy all along either Alienware or Ibuypower, so from that standpoint how do you thing the computer is?
I also picked up CoD, can't wait to catch up on some PC Gaming i missed out the last couple of years.
I was just heading out to buy a DVD or something to, i need to leave the debit card at home.

My impulse shopping was going to go and buy a Tool CD for no reason other than I like Tool and didn't have Aenima. But Fred Meyer wanted $17.00 and I was like f**k that and bought Quiznos instead.

Quiznos is indeed tasty and filled my belly to the brim with good italian meats and cheese on a toasted bun. Having said that, I firmly believe a bit of Tool lodged in my ear would have been more pleasing.

we need to ressurect the power of Teveril in this game...

Seems like a decent price. I doubt you could buy the parts for less than $12-1300.
