Why? Nobody plays it! .. Well, perhaps not right now, but given that the Viper mod is now available - coupled with the fact that BIOS hacking has made fast progress recently, I'd predict the rise of a much more accessible "scene" for Gamecube in the near future. Of course, we don't have anything to go on yet, but obviously the unit is powerful enough to emulate older consoles, and if we ever reach the point where we can easily run our own code on it, we could see some kaiUI stuff for it.
Besides, at just under 40 GBP, it's the price of a game - and has some excellent 1st and 3rd party exclusive titles available..

Man, I checked out their deal. I want it so f*****g bad.
$180 gets you:
GameCube
1 normal controller
1 Wavebird
1 Memory card
Megaman Anniversary
Mario Kart: Double Dash
And what sucks the most is I'd have to order it online, no stores in my area have that bundle stocked.

Well if they actually work, then f**k yeah. But I for some reason doubt that.
I would still go with the 99 dollar one. 80 dollars for a wireless controller, another game and memory card?
Eh, actually did the math, and it equals out to more, if the wireless conotrollers actually work.

Wavebirds are flawless in functionality, they are as light as a regular controller as well, the only thing they lack is rumble which really isn't much of an issue.
