Kerry will do nothing. As Lt. Governor of Massachusetts in 1989, Kerry wrote the following executive order for the state of Massachusetts :

"Whereas the existing and potential strength of nuclear weapons is such that nuclear war can neither be won nor survived, it can only be prevented; and Whereas the only effective defense against the horrors of nuclear weapons lies in their elimination and in the prevention of nuclear war or attacks, [the Commonwealth of Massachusetts] shall seek to ensure the safety of its citizens by pursuit of policies reflecting a serious commitment to prevention of nuclear war."

And goes on to say:

"No funds shall be expended by the Commonwealth for crisis relocation planning for nuclear war."

I'll translate for you leftists, because you tend to be pretty stupid:
In the case of nuclear war, John Kerry will do nothing. He also opposes the missle defense shield. China will be the next big fight after terror. It's scary to think what will happen if Kerry were allowed to eliminate our MAD policy. This could be LA in 10 years.

man, now i have to go back 15 years to dig up something Bush said (that he probably has contradicted), that may have implications in the real-time world; so that I can show Confused (once again) what a f*****g idiot he is.

not quite.. but funny

edit -

"We don't believe in planners and deciders making the decisions on behalf of Americans."—Scranton, Pa., Sept. 6, 2000

that one is pretty good,

This wasn't something he just "said". It was an executive order issued by him when he was Lt. Governor. I don't know what's scarier...Kerry's willingness to allow the US to be nuked, or your ignorant response. You're a leftist, though, so I guess I'm not surprised. The very survival of our country depends on people like you being defeated. You could wind up being worse for this country that Bin Laden if your kind gets power.

The point of the "missile defense shield" is to eliminate MAD policy. By having a defense shield, you prevent your own destruction. Therefore destruction is no longer mutually assured.

But Kerry opposed both the missle defense shield and MAD, which guarantees America's destruction if China wanted to use nuclear weapons...which they have a strong inclination for.

The statement you quoted opposes nuclear war. Can you cite a source for your statement that Kerry wants to eliminate our MAD policy?

Wrong. The executive order opposes a RESPONSE to nuclear war. Big difference. Every sane person opposes nuclear war. Every sane person would also want to respond to a nuclear attack. Kerry does not.

John Kerry wrote:

"We want to prevent nuclear war" does not mean "We oppose a response to a nuclear war." It could very well be interpreted as a statement against missile defense though, since by removing the stabilizing effect of MAD missile defense makes nuclear war more likely.

It's called MADD.

Mutually Assured Destructive Defense

Anyone with the capacity of logical thinking would realize how f*****g stupid the idea sounds.

Wow, that is some majorly convoluted female logic there, if I ever saw some.

So the MDS whole purpose is to eliminate the MAD policy?

LOL

Comical.

Wait, wait... let me get this straight. You're attacking Kerry because he said XYZ in the past, and you're certain he'll stick to what he said back then. But, in another thread, you're attacking him because he flip-flops and doesn't stick to what he says?

I'm certain he will stick to nothing he says, unless he sees a political advantage in changing his position. But then again, he might change that position AGAIN, if he sees a different political advantage to change his previous position. Unless , of course, he changes this position agaaaain, because he thinks he will gain politically to change his position again...

Um...

/reads it over a few times.

Understand?
