The Wendy's here upped all their prices today. The $.99 menu now costs $1.09. How sad, I liked them... looks like KFC will be fulfilling my fast food needs from now on. Snackers for the win.

Odd... was 99 cents yesterday. Some items have been added that were a bit more though too... those possibly what you saw?

lol dont know where you live but best deal kfc offers here is toonie tusedays where you get two pieces of chicken and fries for two bucks *before taxes* and the price of their other things like chicken bugers, or popcorn chicken, or pita wraps are $$$.
seriously.. its just ten freaking cents! wendys is great and has had low pricing for a hella long time. cost of living (and minimum wage) has risen several times while their prices remained the same, this price upage was long over due imo!
oh yes, very weak in the insult department, needs much improvement. might i suggest actually knowing a bit about the subject you attempt to insult before hand. weak sauce, tsk.

If I was going to buy a pair of shoes for 99 dollars, and found out they were 110, I wouldnt go somewhere else to get a 99 dollar pair of shoes I did not like as much.

Hello. I never said I didn't like KFC as much. In fact, I went there just as often as Wendy's. But since Wendy's no longer has the $.99 menu, like every other fast food chain does, I'm not going to go there.

Here you get chicken sandwiches for $.99 any day of the week. Also $.99 medium root beer floats. No tax either.

to be honest with you, i dont buy off dollar menu meals... i mean if its that cheep you know you arent getting quality cut grade a beef or chicken i mean really .. who really knows wth is in those things!?
i remember a dozen years back wendys had to have their 'country fried steak' removed from their dollar menu because the bacterial content in it was causing several bouts of food poisoning.
sorry, but while cheep may be good for some, i prefer to by the good stuff from a grocery store and cook it myself and pack my ... woah almost typed hubby there! pack meddyk his home made lunch to take to work with him.
also i dont shoe shop, i dont anything shop really... malls are evil!

wendy's has had their prices upped for a few weeks around here... but only on certain things like the jr bacon and the classic jr... maybe another item or 2 i dont care about.... but those prices were upped to like... 1.29... where other stuff is still 99 cents...
i think the free frosty's was more to get people back at wendy's after that whole finger fraud...
never was a fan of the dolar menu anyway... number 2 plain with cheese biggie sized with diet coke kthx
as for kfc... i havent been there ever since i found a piece of a blue scrub sponge in my mashed potatoes... but its aight... never was a fan of fast food chicken... chicken is a meat im picky about and eat very slowly =p
but if yer lookin for a replacement fast food joint.. hit up burger king... for 1.29 you can turn yer combo meals into jedi meals and get 2 of 30 star wars toys ^_^ so far i got luke jabba wicket the millenium falcon vader and han solo with carbonite chamber ^_^
