Two builds from me.
Tech build...
- All five peons build an alter
- * Once alter finishes build an arch mage and send peons all to gold, except 1, build a farm with him.
- Queue 5 peons, rally tree, keep building farms with your 1 peon until you've reached a satisfying upkeep cap (for team games you'll want more.) You'll be short on lumber, just send the peon to gather wood and once you get enough wood, send him to build farms again and repeat.
- Hero rush with your arch mage, try to keep your opponent busy
- Upgrade to keep
- take 2 peons off lumber, build two arcane sanctums
- Upgrade priest with one, upgrade sorc with the other
- Soon as the upgrades finish start pumping out priests and sorcesses, I use one for priests, one for sorceresses, but obviously it's all preference
- Make a second hero of choice. I usually go paladin because he helps keep the mage alive but again, all preference
Second build is pretty much exactly like your orc build..
- All five peons to gold
- Build 3 peons
- First peon out goes to build Barracks
- Second peon out goes to build Alter
- Third peon builds farm
- Build 3 more peons, rally lumber
- Send Alter/Barracks peons to lumber once they finish
- Build a second farm as soon as you have lumber
- Build a footman
- Make a Mountain king as first hero
- Build another farm
- Que another footman once you've got gold
- Build yet another farm
- Que yet another footman
- Start creeping
- Upgrade to Keep
From here you do whatever you want, wanna go melee? Make a blacksmith, lumber mill, and another barracks and start pumping out knights.
Gryphons? Upgrade to castle, blacksmith, lumber mill, and gryphon statues.
...and so on...

I agree about orcs, you pretty much got nothin without doctors. Even though Orc has the best melee in the game they regenerate PHENOMENOLLY slow (with the exception of headhunters, which are really ranged melee.)
Edit: I go paladin now as first hero btw, great early healing for footmen and exceptionally useful against undead.

ya pallys own the undead i still am a fanatic about crypt fiends. A mass amount of them can really do some damage.

so anyways i do this quick expand build which VAULTS me ahead of everyone in terms of resources/army
basically first 5 peons on gold
queue up 5 peons
first out makes barracks
right befre second out take one off gold and make farm
second out makes altar
third out to wood
4th out to gold
5th out to wood
farm peon makes another farm
barracks peon speed builds farm with that guy
altar peon to wood
queue up 3 peons...all to wood
make MK + 3 footmen
queue up 4th and 5th footmen
send MK + 3 footmen with barracks targeted to MK to nearest goldmine.
select 3 peons from wood, make them militia and send them after the MK/footies
once gold clear build keep at expansions, fastbuilding with the other 2 peons there.
then you basically upgrade your keep asap, build a second barracks then, build a lumber mill, and more farms while continuously creeping.
build smith when keep finishes upgrade...immediately upgrade to castle.
you will outscore everyone even if you lose. its insane. human fast build is terrible imbalance hahaha.
*edit* im still perfecting this build...i end up waiting for wood still...so i think ill try to pump out 4 more peons after starting up expansion...THEN upgrading keep.

yes yes this fast expansion is definitely the bomb.
6 mins into a game i will have a fully functional expansion, with a lvl 3 hero, an upgraded town hall, and 5-8 footmen all with armor 1...this is also where i start gettin riflemen to counter any dumbfuck air techs.
humAn iz teh OWN.
only thing i miss is the ud fiends auto web which utilizes your entire army as being AA.
