I live in a 3yo (new when bought) 3bed 2bath house with a pretty damn big yard in a 6(?)yo neighborhood. It was worth around $115-120k new but we got lucky and they f****d up the pricing and it was set at $95k and by the time they noticed they couldn't legally change it. Anyway, that's a pretty low price nation wide I think?

As those who know me know I like to adopt the “southern persona” and rag Yankees, however I have to say a few things.
1. You pro-secession folks frankly make me sick. You people are the wackos of the Right, congratulations; you are the right’s political equivalent of ALF/ELF. In fact, because political spectrums work on curves, you have much more in common with “them” than with the rest of us on the right.
2. This racist shit also very much cuts both ways. On one hand you have the wackos spewin the crap Scrabler does, then you also have the leftists who say minorities have no chance whatsoever without government help. Either way, both groups say minorities are inherently inferior.
3. To both of ya I say this…judge people for what they do, that is MUCH more telling of a person than the color of their skin could ever be. And those that tell ya that the color of a person’s skin means a bit of difference are just tryin to make themselves feel better about something. Be it their own superiority or their political agenda, either way its disgusting.

damn it cost 1100 a month for a 1 bd 1bth apartment in Southern CA. f*****g lame. I have a friend who pays 50$ a month for a nice house.. him and 3 roomates pay that much, one of the familys is wealthy and pays the rest.

Oddly enough...thats the category of the majority of people I meet. 
As for not having been around enough blacks? Riiight.... you try growin up in rural kentucky. This is how i got my eternal hatred for the welfare system after seeing the generational destruction it was wreaking on so many people (white and black). I use to blame it on blacks alone, but its not. The current welfare system destroys anyone who gets involved in it without distinction. It just happens to be targeted at blacks who are encouraged to think they cannot get along without it.
Thankfully I've moved to Indiana since then, while the home of the revived Klan who still hold say in Martinsville, I've met a lotta good folks up here who've gotten me to confront my thinking and modify it to something more approaching the realities of the situation and life.
