and some guitar players too - Any of you familiar with '4 Degrees' and able to get anywhere near the same sound as he gets out of those opening chords?
I can hear him strumming well enough, sounds like its palm muted without any bass. But where is that pulsing coming from? I looked around, and Adam says he runs through 3 amps at all times, but I still can't believe that that's 1 guitar. Been messing around with some delay effects, but am not getting any closer to that arabian type sound. Anyone know how he does that?

Here's a trick you might wanna try if you like Tools sound, try a Bass amp. I know, it sounds weird. But do it. And no, you're not gonna f**k anything up.

Yeah, if you f**k with it a bit. You will actually find a good bass amp doesn't even need distortion.
