Yeah. I feel the same way. By the way, how are your EQ2 plans coming along? I guess you got a free copy?

haha mages are ass in pvp. PvE they still do nicely though. 1 vs 1 they don't even hold a candle to me as a druid anymore unless they specialized in fire talents and the % chance of a stun holds on me a few times. Today me (lvl 43) and my warrior friend (47) had 4 mages team up just to focus fire and take us out. I died quite quickly with 4 nukin me :/ The warrior took a while to die though.

Strange. I can ass-rape druids.
It's all a matter of what you use. Quick damage is the way to go for them, as they don't have too many HP's.

When exactly does the stress test begin? I got a CD-key and downloaded the client but never got an e-mail or anything on how to make an account.

It hasn't started yet. When it goes live (probably a week or 2) you get another e-mail to create your account.

the problem is I have more HP than mages and I can constantly keep myself rejuv'd + regrowthed so I regen all the HP I just lost from the nukes. I can pretty much chain moonfire (very mana inefficient) to kill off a mage depending on their level. I can only constantly land nukes on mages 5 or so levels above me.

You didn't need to do it. Right when they opened it to public, it was instantaneous acceptance.

Tomorrow? Nice. Too bad it'll be nearly impossible to play during prime hours--that, afterall, is what this is about. I'm pretty sure it's a North American stress test, so it's very plausible there'll be a chance to do some lag-free exploring during late night hours, which is perfect for the reasons I have to test/endure/whatnot the whole of WOW.
Regardless, I'm kind of looking forward to testing the waters.

This seven-day test will be separate from the ongoing World of Warcraft closed beta test, but stress testers will have access to all of the game content that closed-beta testers are currently playing. |
