Yes.. that's the same complaint my BF had with it.. he hates even having a night light on in the next room when he sleeps it has to be pitch black .. oh well.. :/

MGE makes this model, it was 109 bucks at Fry's. The acrylic is UV treated which is why it glows as oposed to clear plastic. The fan in the back has little UV LEDs and a green fan, the other 4 fans on the machine are clear with neon colored cold cathode lights. The two stick lights are UV cathodes, and one you cant see in this picture, a set of blue "spotlight" mini lasers.. The whole thing comes in parts you have to s***w it together and a couple of the pieces didnt quite fit so I had to n1gger rig some joints with a drill and a lot of pushing. The only complaint I have is that it is 12 as loud as a normal computer (duh... 6 fans total) but its not something I didnt expect. It's a great buy for what I got it for if you have some time on your hands..
You would be amazed to see how much neon and light accessorizing there is out there hahahaha.. whole store AISLES dedicated to it.. its funny

Yes each fan has a switch, you can run the fan or the light or both depending on how you plug them in. You can daisy chain them as I have here but it's a pain in the ass and the design on them is funky... if you daisy chain them you end up having excess switches which cant be seperated from the lights if you want fan/light to work, floating around in the already monstrous amount of wiring.
Still really fun to play around with and very cheap (12 bucks per fan) and it can be turned off when you find it annoying

Its a kickass case, dont get me wrong. But I wouldent buy it..just too much of a distraction.

Aye .. I got a bit too excited about the prospect. I am going to likely rebuild my second machine with a case like this and I'll probably stick to one color on each machine this time.

You could slap a voice-activated rheobus system on it - shout at your computer and it turns off all lights and all but necessary fans. Not too hard to create, just need a USB-powered rheobus and a copy of some voice recognition software.

The rest of the stuff, I just gutted my machine and put into this case so I didn't buy any hardware for it.

p4 2.5ghz 1gb... some other stuff.. the board's an abit max II advance.. pretty neat board, I really like it... I was recommended the max III by Sunk but I'm not into all that tweaking and overclocking shit (because I'm too stupid to understand any of it) I just wanted it to play games on.
