Yes, it seems I can reliably make 1 to 4 servings of high quality, steaming-hot rice with a near-100% success rate. In the microwave. God bless, and good luck.

this rice is magnificent, long-grain brown rice. through the power of a 2500 watt microwave, i can turn 1/4 cup of tooth-busting grain into 500 cups of bountiful, steaming carbohydrates.

next time ya make rice try this,
*for two cups*
1/4 pack of lipton onion soup mix
tsp butter
tsp of italian seasoning (basil, oregano, rosemary..)
two to three drops of tobasco in the water
couple squirts or soya sauce
1 can pre cooked baby shrimp
1 can green cut beans
1 can yellow wax beans
bring 2 cups water, tsp butter, soup mix,soy, spices, and tobasco to a boil, toss shrimp in and resume boiling. stir in 2 cups of uncle bens or minute rice (whatever ya use) stir turn off heat cover let sit 5 mins while ya boil the beans *using the measuring cup and microwaving the beans works too* strain beans stir into shrimp rice mix and serve.
~ for those who like to add salt to flavour add a few shakes of worcestershire sauce instead.
