So I made the mistake of setting up Magelo with the "run EQ on startup" deal... and Im running into problems. For one thing you can't change the setting once it's done because everytime you run Magelo (ha~) it runs EQ and even tho it sits in your taskbar, you can't open up the control panel. Closing EQ down closes down Magelo as well.
Another problem with this is, you can't tell it to update because you can't get to the control panel because (see above)
So.. is there an INI file or something that I can modify or do I just have to wipe it and reinstall?
-Nah-

Alt=Enter get EQ into windowed mode. Ctrl-Alt-R release the mouse. Move the windo so you can see your taskbar.
I'm sure you can do the rest =)

When the eq patcher starts click off the checkbox for auto play. This will just let the patcher run but won't start eq. Then Magelo is in the system tray with stuff like icq/aim/yahoo and whatever other stuff runs minimized so just click on the icon there to pop it up. Or do as the other guy said run eq get out through windowed mode and find it in the tray and open it to make changes. Otherwise settings are in the registry so unless you know how to edit that i wouldnt mess with it.
