I set it to highest difficulty, and the only difference is that the computer gets dealt better hands. Oh well, it's shareware anyway...

We need to generate a lot of random bytes. It is a good idea to perform some other action (type on the keyboard, move the mouse, utilize the disks) during the prime generation; this gives the random number generator a better chance to gain enough entropy.

The computer is like, "lol now I get 12+ in a hand regularly, and your average hand goes down to about 6".

It's amazing. It tracks stats, and as I set the difficulty higher, it scales the hands to be larger for the computer and smaller for me.

Do they think I won't notice???? And then they have the nerve to give me various pop-ups telling me to register the game for only 19.95 (was previously 24.95!! WOWOWOWO!!!)

What makes a better cribbage player?

not much.

There is a little finesse in pegging, and a little finesse in playing odds with the cut, or changing what you throw depending on whose crib it is...

But the amount of strategy involved is very slim.

wanna play online somewhere sm?

play on msn games or something

Cribbage skill is kind of like: 78% pegging, 22% decision-making in regards to hand/crib.

And yes, Atarom, someday we'll play Cribbage, but today is not that day!
