Deputy Chief Timothy Gronau said Monday that Officer George Saoutis followed police procedure after Aaron refused to stop cursing loudly during a cell phone conversation and became abusive and uncooperative.
Aaron said the officer approached her as she walked to catch a bus, telling her to keep her voice down. She twice tried to break away, but he caught her arm, then placed her face down, handcuffed her, and charged her with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
Aaron was scheduled to appear in court on October 21. |

Seems like a child having a child to me. I'm glad that the baby wasn't harmed, but I think she should've been bitchslapped.

People that talk on cellphones loudly just want attention. They want others to think that they are important, but since you're practically handed a cellphone when you turn 10, it's really not that special anymore.

haha harsh. I think the entire department is going to get f****d on this one though, only time will tell. Forcing a pregnant woman onto her stomach = jury voting in her favor. She cussed and "became abusive" by trying to get away from the cop? I don't buy it, I think he's looking for a way out. There should have been plenty of witnesses at a bus stop as well.

I think you underestimate the court system and your fellow man/woman. You will find that the cop will be fine and she will be made to look like a fool for resisting arrest. Cops have been shot for stupid shit, why should this b***h be any different if the cop wants to protect himself? Better safe than sorry, I always say. And knowing people, I'll side with the cop 99.9% of the time.
Who f*****g cares if she was pregnant? the cop can't tell if she's preggers or just f*****g fat. They don't care if you claim to have a broken arm if you run from the cops and they tackle you until you're in cuffs. Then they can be sympathetic, after she's cuffed.

What the hell is a fat woman going to do to a cop besides try to gnaw off his arm or sit on him? :p I don't get how pushing her down on the ground rather than trying to grab the cell out of her hand and seeing her reaction is better.
I may just be biased against the fact that I don't think a woman should be treated like that unless she looks like she's reaching for a weapon, but the story didn't appear to go too much into depth in that area. I'm not saying you're wrong Paco, just my view on the situation.

I am going to make a wild guess here.
Sakinah is a "ghetto queen." We all know the type. She was screaming and cursing on her cellphone using a mixture of Ebonics and profanity. When the cop nicely asked her to lower her voice, she verbally bitchslapped him and said get out of my face honkey or something similar. Cop probably asked several times only to receive more verbal abuse from Sakinah. 5 months is not very pregnant as far as baby size goes, and if she was at all overweight a cop could very well not have noticed she was pregnant at all. The final trimester is when women become obviously pregnant.
So the cop got sick of this dumb b***h telling him to f**k off, and he put her face down and cuffed her.
Go cops!!

Cop was protecting himself from the unknown. She was cursing loudly on the phone, who is to say she wouldnt take her aggression out on the cop when he tried to confront her. He was making sure himself or any other bystanders werent injured. She should learn how to control her mouth. They make an off button for a reason!

Bit off topic, but my uncle (a cop) used to work for an institution that deported illegals back to their country. He was in charge of taking custody and accompany them back.
When I went to visit him (before a flight) he took me down to see "the cells" they wait at. I saw one of his collegues hit a woman back in, and just couldn't believe it. When he came out though, he showed me his arm, and it was full of bite marks. I don't agree with the hitting/abusing, but on the other hand, they'd be yelling, biting, screaming whenever they'd enter the cells. You never know what diseases they have =/

I have a scar on my left bicep. It shows a full set of teeth, top and bottom. That thing took forever to heal and it was infected 2 seconds after the blood started flowing. This happened in a cell, hours after he was arrested and it wasn't even my collar.
That sure didn't make me happy. We had a long conversation about it. I even asked a few colleagues to assist me in conveying my displeasure about being bitten.
