Unfortunately I can't fix the problem, only the powers that be who have server access can fix it.
I can do a temp fix that will solve the problem, but i'm not sure everyone would like it, it has a side effect of making it so you cant edit your posts.
If everyone is all for it I'll do it, it'll fix the lag the boards been seeing.
Let me know what you guys think.

i say do it as a temp fix untill the people who can totaly fix do. no edit will help people +post count.

Khrathii explained what it is, nice job finding that.
I'll get to work getting it fixed, after I do a full database dump.
If there is a bit of downtime, thats why.

Not totally true, there are other things that can cause it, most of those things people aren't aware of because they never do it.
Problem is, when user count gets high load balancing won't cover it up like it does when not many people are on.

Dunno.... no editing sucks... but go ahead and fix it... even though i dont seem affected by this "lag", if others are i say go for it.

So what was the actual problem? Is it possible to explain it without getting too technical? I'd miss editing though; I always s***w something up and have to fix it.
