I don't like Guild Wars PvP! This might sounds stupid, but this is a whole truth and nothing but the truth. On the other hand I do like this game and I would like to be a member of this game. I am having second thoughts about it because I am not a player versus player type of player like I already said.

There is no need to think so hard. You should just join the game. There is no rule that this game is only for players who are player versus player oriented. I am not a player versus player and I still find this game to be as great as any other player. I prefer solo playing and player versus environment is just great for me. I am thrilled with this game like the first day I started playing it and I have no intention of quitting it any time soon. This is why you should come and join me and many other solo players in this great adventure that you will never forget.

true the game concentrates heavy on PvP but you can also just farm theres larges amounts of PvE in the game to keep you going also just make more chars i enjoyed going through the campaigns

It's definitely not for everyone. Builds are key when heading to PvP. Unfortunately, in order to succeed, one must always follow the "Flavor of the Month". But really, if you know how your build works, you should be ok. As you play more, you will know how to work together with your teammates (even in Random Arenas), which opponent to defeat first, when to retreat, etc.

GW really has a different kind of pvp than most games. Personally I like games where you can go out and PK some people out in the open. But if you like arena fighting this game is for you.

Guild Wars 2 should be a big improvement with PK/open PvP. I'm not a fan of their arena system, it has its benefits but it feels too...carebear'ish.
