I am having real problems with World of Warcraft. I just can’t stop playing it. It is so addictive, than no other game gave me similar problems, if I can call it like that. I just love to play this game, and I do so every day for several hours. I am progressing quite fast, if you compare my character to other players. I do not want to stop playing, but sometimes I will need to do that. Then I will have real problems.

I can agree with you. This game is very addictive. I have similar problems with it. Once I start to play it, I cannot stop. Sometimes I play through the night. Maybe I will need some professional help about this. I have played several MMORPGs before World of Warcraft, and this is the only one, which I cannot get out. It is just like a drug. I always need more and more. I have become the WoW addict. However, I think we do not need to worry regarding this, because there are many more gamers just like us.

Well m8 in life u just gotta make ur priorities i was addicted too but i have a GF atm u know when u lose ur mind on some girl the "addictiveness" will disappear by itself .. and tbh i`m not sry for all the time spent online i rly enjoyed meself ... u know u eighter get addicted to cigarets, weed, alchohol, amfetas or w/e ... wow is my addiction i still play it a bit too much ... but dont worry ur so called addiction will be gone soon and at times u`ll feel sry for it ...

I've also had a problem quitting wow, best thing is, I think I'm finally able to get away from it. I'm getting married in June, and it's time to move on to some games that.... dont require me to stay at the computer constantly!
Lineage 2 I have found is a good way for me to get away from wow... It's hours of grinding, and since I dont enjoy grinding that much, I can play for an hour, maybe a little more and then its time to take a break, how it should be imo!

Thats kind of moronic. Theres a lot of people that are addicted to crack, meth, heroin. Is it ok for them too, since theres a lot of people like them?
If you see the game effecting you in a negative way, and you cant stop yourself, get help. Do not lose your life, job, career, to this game. It can happen, and ive seen it happen. I had a buddy who got discharged from the Marine Corp's because he played WoW so much that he had terrible performance in work and was late to many events.
