got the subs working and watched it.. twice.
I still have no idea what was going on as far as the plot goes. But it was f*****g awesome.

Theaters - no
DVD/UMD - Yes. US release got pushed back with current ETA of Nov/Dec

Final Fantasy Unlimited was the anime series. The first 5 minutes are in CGI and were decent, but the rest completely sucked.
