Faction Armor craftable.... Replacing all those f****n losers wearing composite with either stormtrooper armor or rebel armor.
THAT would add the immersion level that is NEEDED in a Star wars GAME.
As shallow as that sounds, I would re-subsribe SWG for that sole reason alone.
Not to mention they just threw a a free 14 day trial out so... atleast 300k people re-joined and could-be play again.,

I'm trying it out now. Pretty much buying it to try it a bit longer. Running around in some uber bone armor (hehe).. well not a complete set. but almost.. my DLT20a Rifle. I pretty much suck. LOL. Haven't really run into many cool people thusfar. just beggars begging me of all people. Kids trying to get to Jedi (like that could ever happen) in their 14 days. hehe
Intrepid is an ok server I guess.

From what I understand until publish 10 goes live it's impossible to become a Jedi if you aren't one already. Publish 9 transferred existing Jedi into the new system but the hologrind is over now

The tradeskill system is both SWG's saving grace and failing point at the same time.
It's immersive and complex, but the fact it allows for mass producing was just a bad, bad idea. If you could only produce a handful of items at a time or had to hand craft everything you made, the tradeskill system would have been the best.
I know people would have complained about "not being able to do anything else but craft" but dude.. if you're training to be a weaponsmith you're damn right you better EXPECT to devote yourself to that.

Finally found a few pretty cool folks to head out with. The guild is Black Company. LOL Doubt it has any relation to the TM BC. Very small guild. do they allow the same guild name on each server? Because I swear I saw a BC on another server also. I could be wrong.

"Black Company" is about as original a guild name as "Dragon Fire" or "Holy Defenders of the Midnight Soul Moon Spirit."

Nothing against the TM BC peoples, I realize you have to name your guild something. I'm just saying the odds of having a different Black Company guild per server per game are really high.

Yeah, ahaha, if you do a www.camelotherald.com guild search on every server/realm you are almost guaranteed to find a Black Company guild.

I'd think about it when:
* Players, not Creature Handler pets, tank mobs
* There are actual, reliable rules of aggro which give the player choice in combat. Versus, say, mass chaos and spamming knockdown / threaten shots.
* It doesn't run like shit on a gaming machine which runs three simultaneous EverQuest instances in Twilight Sea, of all places, with full clip and effects up.
Until then, ta ta!

* I tank mobs, as a Swordsman, I have some of the best defences in the game depending on my spec, as do other heavy melee characters (Although Fencers have the best defence stats compaired to other classes trees)
* Not sure about the spamming of skills anymore, but it all depends on class. You still have the one to 3 moves you use mainly, and changing depending on the mob you are attacking
*I can't debate this, SWG's graphics are horrid, and run like shit even with a good computer.
