Still using 1 handed axe for melee combat, but was wondering if I should go train a 2 handed weapon type or just stick with the axe and dual wield them later on?

it all depends on stats. This is the order to go for imo. +atk ---> agility ---> agility/sta ---> crit % (only if you have really high agility, this will happen at 50+). This is just my opinion of course. I'm using a 2 hander that gives 25 agility, but I really want the 2 sword send off Rend in BRS that gives a +atk bonus and the mainhand has a 1% crit chance on it.

i dont understand why people ask questions like this.
It's not like you can pick ONE weapon and you HAVE to stick with it FOREVER.
"Here, try this sword, it's got 10 dps more than your axe."
"NO! I'M AN AXE MAN! GET THAT THING AWAY FROM ME!"
"Uhhhh, ok."
Use the weapon with the highest dps unless the orc +5 axe bonus outweighs the dps difference.
You will most likely use every weapon possible by the time you're done. So all skills will be necessary...

like melees not training fist weapons. im a rogue i get a hearty chuckle when someone disarms me in pvp, then i pummel them bare fisted to death.
