Can you raise your Beast taming skill by using it over and over on creatures? Tame, abandon, tame, abandon, etc?

im not exactly sure what your question is, but let me explain the hunter pets...
there are 5 loyalty levels, 5 is the highest loyalty.
currently the only skill in the game for your beast is growl. It has 6 levels, you can train a level of growl every 10 levels. You do this by using the skill gained at level 10 called beast taming.
your pet gains loyalty by keeping his happiness up (aka feeding him). When the happiness is above about 75% he'll do 125% of his damage. The damage on your pet sheet will say probably like 10-12 damage but in reality they are suposed to do the 3's and 4's that they do when you first get the pet at level 10.

Your pet gains no skills by using him, he will only level with you, as he gains levels, his attack and hp/ac go up.

You can only tame beasts the same level as you or lower of course.

I had a level 47 hunter use his boar on me and it was hitting me for around 70 damage if I remember correctly, keep in mind I was 46 at the time  It hits fast as hell too, it was a pain getting spells off. There is already a level 55 alliance hunter who has a hakkar'i dragonwing as a pet from temple of hakkar as well, Potsnu said it did pretty nice damage to him I think, but then again he's like 15 levels below her.
