Nassau County cops are investigating an incident in which a human leg fell out of the wheel well of a plane and landed in the backyard of a South Floral Park home.
The aircraft, a South African Airways flight originating from Johannesburg with a stop in Dakar, Senegal, was landing at Kennedy Airport. After landing, more human remains were found.
Police suspect that the leg belongs to a male stowaway who snuck onto the plane just before take-off.
Police received a call around 10:51 a.m. from a home on Lewis Ave. in South Floral Park that a body part fell out of the sky, bounced off the top of the garage and fell on the ground in the backyard. |
