I want to start my own alliance in OG, so what are the requirements? Do I need to have a certain number of points, or do the other members have to? Can I start an alliance together with another player, so we both have the rank of founder? Thanks, and sorry for all the n00b questions.

Basically, there are no set requirements, other than the obvious – you need to have other players willing to join your alliance. AFAIK, an alliance can only have a single founder, so no, you can't create them "in pairs". As a founder, though, you could assign your friend the rank of "right hand", so he can control the alliance as well. I think that about covers your questions, anything else?

Well how exactly do you bump peoples ranks up, and if you create a new rank will it be better than the old one?
