The hat is my dads - it's safe and sound ;p
No damage to our appartment (yeah the new one) since there was only equipment, tools, cement bags, tiles and stuff inside.
But the guy directly under us got drowned bad. Couldn't turn on his lights on the ceiling because of a chance for a shortcircuit.
His wallpaper came off the wall and stuff...
The others had damage as well. They were all very cool about it though. Luckily we are insured.
We were working on rerouting the waterpipes in the kitchen and put something on it after we sawed it off. The thingy (no idea what to call it in english - but we bought it for the purpose of holding 3 bar of waterpressure, which should have been fine for a flat like ours) held fine for 5 days without leaking, then popped off in the middle of the night. We still don't know why. Prolly not quite tight enough or something. Police broke in and shut off the water and firedepartment came to pump the water away.

Just think, you can beat him with the old pipes, cause he's closer to you than the rest of us.
I recommend taping up the ends with duct tape, to minimize external damage, and bone breaking.
