Am recently looking to sell a WoW account and am curious as to how and handle the actually transaction once a buyer is found. I know a lot of people frown on paypal, but if i request money and give buyer login info and sqa and change email, then mail him the cd's. Wouldn't that stop the scamming problem or am i missing something? Cause if he signs for cd's then there will be reciept and if there is an attempt to reverse paypal then I'll have proof of delivery. Im new to this and am basically looking for safest way of making sale, any help would be greatly apprectiated.

PayPal, moneybookers same things make pics, record all conv, mails, pm's not just copy and paste to notepad make screenshots(for pp,mb), seller/buyer must post reply to ur selling thread to admins know his ip as proof, after some1 buy ur
account and pays you money w8 one day before you give gim acc. details ask admin to check his ip.

So out of all of the payment methods are you saying Paypal is the best for receiving money as long as you wait a day for the transaction to happen?

I think it's a feeling thing as well. I am relatively new to this stie, but i have been around these type of places for a while. If the other party seems like they are trying to rush you, its a bad sign. If the other party is being overly vague, bad sign. Its a lot of common sense involved.

Thanks for this post, I'm not sure which way to go either. I'm going to be selling several accounts in the next few days, and I don't want to get scammed as well.
Back in the day I sold stuff from my EverQuest accounts, and there were no problems from PayPal then. I guess the latest brand of teenager is that much lamer now? Heh.
