|

Unlike Sunk, I actually have to take the real test and payed to do so. Its tomorrow and I ahve no idea how to study for it. I don't really remember anything that much, crap from August-September is way gone.
Ive got plenty of notes, tests and worksheets, but the damn stack is a good inch or so thick... I tried reading over it, but that's no good.
I remember on Road Trip that one smart guy said something along the lines of " Of course I can teach you Historical Psychology in under 46 hours, all you have to do is relate it to something that interests you " And then re related it to pro wrestling (because that's what the guy liked )
Someone help me out here..
Ya

"osmosis" normally doesn't help.
we talking us or world ap test?
how good are your notes? did you actually give a f**k abuot this class? and an inch thick isn't that bad, you just have to figure out what the main ideas are and the causes and effects of historical events.

Osmosis... Right
Ya I gave a damn about the class. I took f*****g color coded notes with important names/places/ in blue, dates in red, and various other crap.
Ive got a 91 in the class, which I was originally afraid of failing the class because it was so much more indepth then my previous classes.

Really now, why the hell would anyone ask realpoor for advice on life issues? Are the people who troll this board your only social connection to the outside world?

If you havn't already been studying then you may as well not bother
The best way to study for a test is to study for a week or so prior, and just sit and relax and get some sleep the day before. Anything you study now isn't really doing you much good anyway.
That's what I did for my AP calc test and I got a 5 (highest score possible)

If you haven't been learning and absorbing, don't bother. The AP classes are not intended to be crammed for. Its so much more that goes into an AP class than just notes that you really cannot prepare for it.
You shouldn't have taken the class if you weren't ready for it

If you have just put the information aside and not really forgotten it then just reread over your notes to refresh your memory. If you have really forgotten the information then cramming would probably not help you and in fact could make you do worse. Get a good nights sleep and go over your notes before class.
Most teachers like to put questions on the finals that you allready had in previous tests so going over them should help as well.
Honestly it all depends on what type of test it is (i.e multiple choice, essay, fill in the blank--short answer).
Nobody here will be able to help you figure out the best way to study because we all learn differently. You will have to decide what would be best for you. Just make sure you get a good nights sleep because a clear mind will allow you to remember a lot quicker than a tired mind. Also don't stress out man. You are not going to do any better by stressing yourself out and most likely will do worse--it is too late to worry about that now. Wake up, eat breakfast, go to school and just do the best you can.

Cramming works sometimes...
It really depends on the subject matter and your methods. You have to know yourself well enough to know when it helps and when to just get some sleep. My basic rule is make sure you've exposed yourself to all the material, if you've never read over it you probably have zero chance of knowing the answer when you are asked. If you've read everything but don't have a quick recall of it on demand, figure out how much sleep you need (7-8 hours is good ) and quit when it's time to sleep.
