Ok I havent played the damn game for years yet i still get this bill on my CC for 12.95 a month..
I dont have the client anywhere and i have no idea what account i am getting billed for..
HEPL! Can you cancel online? Do they f*****g make u call them? what...

cal your bank and tell them that you've been being charged 12.95 a month from Sony and that you haven't authorized it for XX months.
they'll do a charge back and then you get more money =)

I dont know what account it is for.. I honestly dont even remember my username and passwords for any of myu accounts (i always use different ones)
I'm gonna try to call them once they open.. but i was reading on the site and they want account keys and everything..
I might just call my if they wont stop charging me =/

and last time i talked to my bank they said it was some kind of "pre approved" charge and that is why they couldnt put a stop payment on it..

That's exactly what it is. The agreement you sign with Sony for the billing is recurring. Therefore you've approved it.
The only way to close the account if you dont have CD keys is to cancel your credit card.
Get spare cash out of the ATM beforehand cuz yer gonna be ass out for 3-5 days while they get you a new one.
I know this because I signed up for a few porn sites that basically didnt let you unsubscribe because the links were convoluted. The only way to cancel that is to switch your card.

dude.. you arent closing your f*****g account you are just getting a new card. This means they will freeze your current one while you activate a new one. It's an inconvenience at best.

ahh.
Well i called em and got another guy and he was like "Well we have one account on your card but it is not in your name. I am canceling it and you might want to call your CC company and file a dispute"
God i love the inconsistancy in support ppl.

Doh, just call your cc company and dispute the billing for the months you have not played. That will render you harmless from paying it until you straighten it out with Sony. They will have you deduct the total amount in question from your current balance. BUT....If the end result is that you are liable, the cc company WILL rebill you those charges.
I would NOT count on Sony refunding all those monthly charges, however. But, you have to talk to them first. If they don't give you satisfaction, THEN you turn it over to the cc company. They will contact Sony and say WTF?
But, don't hold your breath....
Rule of thumb--DO look at your cc statements every month. Have them delivered online--makes life easier.
