I read some survey about how old the SL population is. It is stated that about 50 of the population is 18-24, about a third is 25-34, and the rest is older than 34. But are this people playing the game really mature? Sitting in front a pc for hours a day and being in a virtual world isnt too mature, is it?

Second Life is just fun for most of the players. Some mature people spend their time in reading books, or watching tv, or listening to music, and also playing online games, such as Second Life. Also, many people are making money in the game, so you can say that in Second Life they earn they Second Income.
