I'd say probably 12 times a year if I were to count them as they happen. When ever I think in retrospect, the number seems to double of tripple. Getting older enlightens you to more and more of your d*****s moments.
And s***w you for making me remember some. @$$HOLE!
Edit: Posts on RP do not count. At least... I hope they don't.

I have a d*****s moment damn near every day and I'm not afraid to admit it. Sometimes its something simple like talking to the hot chick from human resources like I'm the shit with a boog hangin or going to the fast food restaurant and asking them for a regular size drink when all they offer is small/medium/large ...
Sometimes its big, something like I've been working on a client's T-1 router for 3 weeks troubleshooting an issue only to find out they have an access list denying all traffic on specific ports back into their private network!!11!111! Its a d*****s moment because rather then having someone finally clue me in, I should have caught it during the first day...

"Well, I'm a Software Engineer."
"Ohh what is that?"
"Well, I write computer programs and solve other people's problems."

Then I never hear from her again.

Whenever I buy a new outfit, I look at myself in the mirror before leaving and think "Damn, I look good." I even think I look good while I'm driving to work. The second I get out of the car and see other people around me, I get really self conscious and think I look like a total retard.
