Thats arguable. I mean, its nothing like WoW what so ever. So you can love this game but hate WoW or vice versa. You cant compare much of this game to WoW. So thats all just going to be a matter of opinion.

Well as the previous poster said this game is considerably different from wow. The crafting and gathering system seems to be currently weaker than wows but only time will tell how that changes.
Since AoC hasn't been out long its hard to compare the rounded off edges wow has to other games though. Aoc is more realistic and graphically better but it doesnt make up for alot of the gameplay issues that are still lacking in it. There are multiple level ranges 50+ mostly that lack a respectable leveling zone / dungeon. Sure they have some but they arent scaled correctly to the level ranges, and provide a overwhelming or poor layout.
The pvp system aswell is barely existing in terms of progression (risk /reward) we have been waiting for its promised implementation for month now easily.
If you have wow stick with it. If it wasnt for the city building / guild interaction I would not have even played the 60 levels I did.

I personally didn't like alot of things in AoC but some of it was fun, I feel that the zoning whenever you die, wherever you are is unnecessary and should be fixed asap, other than that i enjoyed the pvp as an assassin, i only got to level 46-47 though before quitting because of lack of quests.
Right now im just playing wow, maybe ill start again if they fix the game a bit, didn't seem like it was ready for release when they did.

It's definitely a different "feel" than WoW, but it's hard to compare a game that's been out for 4 years and a game that's been out for 2 months. AoC may have more going for it in a year two.

The gameplay is better than WoW but the system requirements are too high which keeps the playerbase limited unlike WoW. It also needs more dungeons and social material.
