There is a time limit between posts. Yet I still see:
post at 8:15am - "HI DAVE"
post at 8:16am - "HI DAVE" then later "OOPS DOUBLE POST"

I know how I get double posts.. here at work the internet goes on the fritz every so often.... it will just lag out for a full minute.
It's happened that I usually make a lot of typos and I go back to correct em after posting. Well in editing the post if my internet is on the fritz and I submit, the little IE flag will keep waving. It can be a full 2 minutes later and the page will still be "loading" but in reality its not. If I click submit a second time or refresh the page and redo my typos and submit, the client hasnt refreshed what the server side has already received. Voila! double post
