I always liked maces most. In every game. Including Diablo II. Barbarian with one big maul in both hands, I mean there is nothing stronger than the guy. Anyway, how about spears? I never tried any so far, regarding Lineage 2, and as I have noticed, there are not so many players with this weapon as their primarily. Does this means that they are useless?

No, it does not means at all. Spears have longer range than other (mace, sword, axe) blood spilling weapons. I think it is quite good as any other weapon, which all depends on polearm mastery skill, and how high it was reached. I think that the main question is my character looking prettier with some b*****d long sword or not, takes the first place. All weapons are equal, but not all classes are able to use every of them with full potential.
