Go to Iowa, and infect a few cows with Mad Cow Disease.
Cost of operation - 100,000 dollars at the very very very most.
Effect - billions lost out of the US economy.
There are so many things terrorists can do that you cannot defend against. Not saying this was a terrorist act.. I'm surprised there hasnt been one since sept 11 though.

Seems like to me, the easiest thing would be to start a shit ton of wildfires during the dry seasons. Look how much damage was caused by the California wildfires a couple months ago.

The easiest way to really f**k up the US is to detonate dirty bombs at major highway intersections. no one would want to go near them for weeks causeing major gluts on the surface streets and closeing buisness nearby.
For LA one charge at the 101/134 and the 134/450, another set at the 5/110 5/134, another at 450/10.
LA closed.
5 pipe bombs, 5 chunks of spent rads = $5,000 (provided the rads are stolen for free)

Do you want to know what Christmas is?
‘I have heard of this place’ she whispered. ‘It is said that evil was done here. Satan’s disciples carried out their work in this very graveyard. One night, long ago, the men from the town vowed to put an end to the atrocities which were committed here and descended upon the village of Bad Christmas. The evil was destroyed and the houses and cottages burnt to the ground. This is the legend of Bad Christmas. This is the reason for its reputation. A well-deserved reputation. This is why I brought you here. Stranger, meet my kin……’
At once a noise, a terrible noise emanated from the churchyard. From inside the chapel came a howling, a dreadful bellowing, as if all the fiends of hell had returned to Bad Christmas that November night. I panicked and turned to Laura, rooted to the spot in horror. Except Laura was no longer by my side. The fog had engulfed her, swallowed her from my vision. She was gone.
I ran, feet pounding the cobbles of the churchyard, fleeing for my life as fast as I could, shouting, shouting all the time, ‘Laura, Laura, run Laura, go back to the road, don’t stay here, LAURA WHERE ARE YOU!’ but there was no reply. Why had I come to this evil place? All the memories of that Christmas long ago came flooding back, that moment when I learnt that Mum and Dad were NEVER coming home. I screamed, petrified as the noise grew louder, the fog grew thicker and I fled through the gates I had passed with Laura, whoever she was. Suddenly I slipped, stumbled on the cold, wet cobbles, my temple struck the ground, and I descended into darkness. I remembered no more.
Some time later I emerged from the mist once more to find myself surrounded by concerned faces. I was offered a drink and was told to stay quite still for fear of causing further damage to myself. An ambulance was on its way. ‘Why did you leave so soon’ my host asked. ‘We noticed that you had left the house. Your obsession with Bad Christmas came to mind and we all followed you as best we could, but lost you in the fog. Then we heard that ghastly noise and found you lying on the cobbles. Why the hell did you come here? How did you find your way? You’ve never been to the house before, so how on earth did you find your way across the fields to Bad Christmas?’
‘Laura brought me here’ I answered. Blank faces.
‘Laura. You know. Long black hair. Blue eyes. Laura brought me…’
At once I knew that no-one of that name had been at the party. No -one knew of her. No-one had seen her. No-one but me. A chill ran through my body as I realised how I had come to be in the churchyard that night, and who, or what, had guided me there.
I set off for home four days later. Nobody could explain what had happened. In fact, I never mentioned the name of Bad Christmas again. As I drove over the brow of the hill, I glanced over and saw that the faded sign had been removed, presumably to prevent other unwary visitors from being tempted , lured, entranced by the mysticism of that name. I was sure I saw a glimpse of long, flowing black hair as I sped away up the long, winding hill. Just my over-active imagination playing tricks again. Maybe…

HIV can't be transfered through food or water.

Yes, once HIV hits oxygen it dies.

yes, but if you store hiv in certain forms it lives longer. i.e. there was a study done where hiv infected blood was put on college football pads and thrown in the corner. The pads when laid together made the hiv survive for up to 3 weeks. Has something to do with optimal moisture, darkness, and heat.

"how the hell can you say this is a terrorist thing?"
Terrorism does not have to be directed against people, there are plenty of anti crop and livestopck weaponized organisms available. A attack of this nature would affect us on many levels within our ecomony.
I believe BSE is cause by a prion, a protein. Can't be killed because it ain't alinve.

EMP device would be the most damaging economic form of terrorist attack in this country or anywhere in the modern world today :p
Interesting interview with Tommy Franks, he said that if there were another major terrorist attack on the nation that the U.S. would turn into a military-police like nation.
Something to think about. How much "protection" do we need? Will turning America into a fortress make the population any "safer"?

way wrong. HIV does not last as long in the open as it does in the body but it can live in the open for quite some time, maybe 24 hours maybe longer but it can live for some ammounts of time.
HIV can be transferred via food/water but is very hard. There was one case of someone getting HIV through kissing alone so it can be transferred via many means if the conditions are right.
The one thing about HIV/AIDS is no one can tell why it hasn't gone airborne yet as most viruses/pathogens in its class normally do. Once it does everyone will have to learn to live with it in one way or another.
See Mitchison, A., "Will We Survive?" Scientific American, September, 1993, pp.136-144

If for example, they are french kissing, and one or both of them have a cut on their tongue/mouth somewhere, and you happen to also have a cut in your mouth, then you could get HIV that way.

"We know that HIV is still evolving. Its global spread has meant there is far more HIV on earth today than ever before in history. What are the odds of its learning the tricks of airborne transmission? The short answer is "No one can be sure." ... [A]s time passes, and HIV seems settled in a certain groove, that is momentary reassurance in itself. However, given its other ugly attributes, it is hard to imagine a worse threat to humanity than an airborne variant of AIDS. No rule of nature contradicts such a possibility; the proliferation of AIDS cases with secondary pneumonia [and TB] multiplies the odds of such a mutant, as an analog to the emergence of pneumonic plague."
That is from Joshua Lederberg a Nobel Prize winner in the field of Medicine.

That's exactly what happened. The guy had all kinds of gum disease and she had an open sore in her mouth. She was still a virgin

By reading this I gather her idea of the best attack would be the above mentioned. After reading this did anyone else think how stupid of a f*****g idea this is? I mean wow.
